> The reforestation programs
The selected programs by 5Continents are long term projects. Trees are planted and watched until their teen ages. The programs are realized in developing countries, in strong conjunction with NGO and local powers. Those programs are operated by EcoAct, a major player of carbon compensation and its local partners.

The programs are part of the effort introduced by UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) in the framework of the "Plant for the planet" campaign

Throughout the world, individuals and organizations, from such different origins as civil society, private sector, or States, are invited to plant at least one billion trees per year throughout the world.
